There are two types of vitamin A: retinoid which are contained in meat, fish, poultry and dairy products, and beta- Carotene, which is found in some fruits and vegetables. Vitamin A is essential to the body and has a lot of positive effects on its different functions. This is why you should provide yourself with this vitamin:
Vitamin A improves our vision. It helps the eyes to adapt easier from light to dark and the opposite, and it also improves our night vision. What is more, this way, it helps with the struggle against macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma and others.
